Sarah and Daniel were married in early November 2015, at the newly renovated garden area at the Mercure Hotel & Convention Centre, here in Ballarat.  And what a beautiful renovation, you must check it out. Their daughter stole the show as she walked down the eye, I think there were a few teary eyed people in the audience! They also honoured their parents by having all four of them stand up in support of their marriage, which is such a lovely and thoughtful idea. Well done you guys, congratulations on your wedding, and your beautiful little family xx

What a lovely wedding this was, on the last weekend in October 2015. I found out that I had a friend connection with Christine at our first meeting (she absolutely scared my by refusing to shake my hand, but then said we had to hug instead!), and that just established my ongoing friendship with this gorgeous couple. This wedding had a huge focus on family with their children and grandchildren featuring in the wedding ceremony. And that fact made it all so very special to me and to their audience. Congratulations on your marriage Christine and Robert, you are lovely xx

What can I say about these two? Fun? Family? Laughter? Naughtiness? Sincerity? All of the above! Jess and Andy were married a few weeks ago, and they were just so delightful, both individually and as a family. They were so focussed on creating a terrific family day, making sure that their children were involved in the bridal party and in a great sand ceremony. And they had such a great sense of humour for the day, sharing their love for Batman. My highlight? Watching Andy dissolve as he saw his bride coming down the aisle. Right at that point I knew, beyond a doubt, that these two are absolutely perfect for one another. Congratulations Jess and Andy, I know you will be happy until the end of time xx

A few weeks ago, I got to marry my bestie. I got to marry my bestie! And it was awesome, terrifying, wonderful, exhausting & just plain brilliant. I was so honoured to be her celebrant, to be the one to marry her to the love of her life, a man who has embraced her and her family and made their lives just that much better. It will be a long and strong marriage, that I know. And there was a good luck charm on the day, their cat was a permanent guest in the wedding crowd.

Kristy & Robert: A match made in ferret heaven.

Kristy and Robert were married last weekend, at the ever lovely Kirk's Reservoir (even though it was a bit of a quagmire: fixed by a well placed and long carpet runner). It was a ceremony just overflowing with love and joy for each other, their family and their beloved ferrets, two of which featured in the bridal party entry. I do love a ferret, and I was so thrilled to have time with these gorgeous creatures. It was actually quite fun to try to find a reading involving ferrets that was suitable for a wedding, but I think I pulled it off! Thanks so much to Kristy and Robert for having me as your celebrant, it was such a joyful experience for me.
