Dianne & Les.

Dianne and Les were married in January, at their home. I have known Les for what seems like forever, and he is one of my favourite people in the world. So, I was delighted when he told me that he had met a very special lady, and that she might be "the one". Imagine my delight when eventually they asked me to marry them? Les chose well, because Dianne is perfect. It makes me a bit misty to see them so happy together, and that their children all get along well, just like the Brady Bunch. Congratulations to my dear friends, thanks for having me as your celebrant xx

“What Is Love?” – Author Unknown

Sooner or later we begin to understand that love is more than verses on valentines and romance in the movies. We begin to know that love is here and now, real and true, the most important thing in our lives. For love is the creator of our favourite memories and the foundation of our fondest dreams. Love is a promise that is always kept, a fortune that can never be spent, a seed that can flourish in even the most unlikely of places. And this radiance that never fades, this mysterious and magical joy, is the greatest treasure of all – one known only by those who love.

Jess & Jason

My darling friends, Jess and Jason, were married in February, at the beautiful Mawallok Station, which is just out of Beaufort. This family wedding was fabulous, the attention to detail was brilliant and the crowd was a hoot. Jess and Jason made sure that their three boys were a feature, and also, all four of their parents were acknowledged on the day. It was a charming day, a stunning venue and one wedding that I will never forget. I loved it all xx

Kate and Scott: a New Years Eve wedding.

The gorgeous Kate and Scott were married (by me!) on NYE, in Geelong, at the beautiful venue, Truffleduck. It was a hugely windy day, a total fire ban day, but the gardens were were reasonably protected, and luckily though, Kate and Scott did not want a hugely long ceremony, given the weather forecast. They involved both of their Mum's in the ceremony which was a lovely touch, but then again, they had a big focus on celebrating their families, with their little nieces being their only wedding attendants.

“Don’t Ever” - Laine Parsons.

Don't ever try to understand everything - some things will just never make sense.
Don't ever be reluctant to show your feelings - when you're happy, give into it!
When you're not, live with it.
Don't ever be afraid to try to make things better - you might be surprised at the results. Don't ever take the weight of the world on your shoulders.
Don't ever feel threatened by the future - take life one day at a time.
Don't ever feel guilty about the past - what's done is done.
Learn from any mistakes you might have made.
Don't ever forget that you can achieve so many of the things you can imagine - imagine that!
It's not as hard as it seems.
Don't ever stop loving, don't ever stop believing, don't ever stop dreaming your dreams.

Noor & Mustafa

Noor and Mustafa were married in her parent's home last December, and it was just a simple little ceremony with only her immediate family in attendance. They all were, however, about to fly out to Dubai to have a HUGE family celebration with all of hers and his family flying in from all over the world. total numbers were staggering in terms of guests and they were all so excited. But, the thing I loved the most? I was invited to stay after the ceremony to join in the traditional family meal and I was just so chuffed. The food was amazing, and they shared the story of their families from growing up in Baghdad, moving to Dubai, creating careers and professions, and wonderful family connections. It was a truly lovely event, and I was so happy to be a part of it all xx

You make me feel like I am home again.
Whenever I'm alone with you
You make me feel like I am whole again.
Whenever I'm alone with you
You make me feel like I am young again.
Whenever I'm alone with you
You make me feel like I am fun again."
