Laura and Mohsen

Laura and Mohsen are a truly lovely couple: they are sweet, kind, funny and both love helping others. I was very honoured to be their celebrant and we developed a friendship which I value enormously. Their ceremony was held at the Mercure in Ballarat, which has recently been renovated in terms of their wedding spaces, and the changes are beautiful. I asked Laura for some photos, and she sent me so many, so rather than waffling on, I'm just going to let the photos speak for themselves. Their photographer was Scott, from One Point Photography, who takes amazing photos. Congrats Laura and Mohsen, you two are just gorgeous together xx

Kerri & John

Kerri is one of my oldest friends, we met in Year 7 back in the day, and I just loved being with her and her family. We had some many fun times together, with the occasional bit of mischief thrown in for good measure. Sadly, we lost touch as we grew up and lived our lives. BUT! Via the magic of Facebook we re-connected a few years ago, and it has been nice renewing that bond. So imagine my delight when she asked me to be her wedding celebrant, for her wedding to the gorgeous John! I was so thrilled. They married at The Log Cabin Camp, in Creswick, and this is such great wedding venue because they have accommodation there for all guests, so it can be quite the weekend. Another fab fact: I also got to work with Ethan and Sarah, from Ethan Robson Photography, a lovely couple, who take gorgeous photos, as you can see.

Congrats Kerri and John, I adore you both, thanks for picking me xx

Gaye & Nick

On a gorgeous day in February, Gaye and Nick were married at the Ballaarat Mechanics Institute, an amazing wedding venue in Ballarat, not often used as a wedding venue, but it should! It's a stunning old building, a significant piece of Ballarat's history, which was built in 1859. But, I digress. I was so thrilled to have been asked to officiate Nick and Gaye's wedding as I have known Nick since 1997, and he is a dear friend. It was so nice to meet all his close family and friends and to be the one to marry him to the beautiful Gaye, who looked stunning. The photographer was Jeremy, from Jeremy Bannister Photography, and the images are beautiful. What I loved about this day was the relaxed atmosphere, and mingling with the crowd who were so delighted to be celebrating with the bride and groom. Congrats Gaye and Nick, your day was one of my faves xx

Sharee and James

Wow. Wow. Wow. My darling friend Sharee married this gorgeous guy James, and now I have a darling new friend, just like that! Yes, James and Sharee married in March and it was a beautiful day, a magical day, at the fabulous Mitchell Harris Wines. They had their three sweet daughters in the wedding party, such a simple idea that was just perfect, and very emotional for all of us there. Their photos taken by the very talented Alex Pallett, and as you can see, Alex has a wonderful eye for detail. Congratulations Sharee and James, being there with you both meant the world to me xx
